Advances in Food and Agribusiness Explored

DMG Productions discovers breakthroughs in agribusiness education.

Jupiter, FL— The award-winning television series announces participation with Purdue University’s Center for Food and Agricultural Business, on an upcoming episode scheduled to broadcast during the 2018 season. American Farmer airs Tuesdays at 8:30aET on RFD-TV.

The Center for Food and Agricultural Business creates and offers professional development and executive education programs that combine research with real-world application, specifically for the food and agribusiness industries. From seminars and workshops to custom programs and an MS-MBA dual-degree in food and agribusiness management, Innovations’ sister program American Farmer will enlighten audiences about the professional development experiences, advanced degree programs, and applied research the center offers to the ever-evolving food and agribusiness sectors.

“Our goal as a center is to partner with professionals in food and agribusiness to help them further their careers and position their companies for success,” said Allan Gray, center director, professor of agricultural economics, and Land O’Lakes Chair in Food and Agribusiness. “Our programs cover a wide variety of roles, including sales, management, marketing, strategy and finance, and they are tailored to professionals representing a variety of industry segments—from agronomic organizations to food production companies. We look forward to working with American Farmer to highlight the ways we’re making a difference in agriculture and the ways industry professionals can be a part of that.”

The center supports Purdue University’s mission by helping people in the food and agribusiness industries improve their management competencies to take on the challenges and opportunities of a dynamic and complex agri-food system.
