Fishkill, NY ─ Advanced Reconnaissance Corp. is pleased to announce that they will be featured in an upcoming episode of American Farmer, airing later this year on RFD-TV. Hyperspectral imagery is not a new technology, but its wide spread use in a production agriculture setting is just beginning. The American Farmer program is a perfect venue to showcase the advancements in hyperspectral remote sensed imagery
Advanced Reconnaissance Corp. (ARC) has been involved in the research, development, and distribution of hyperspectral based remote sensing for two decades. With the rapid advancement in agriculture technology, hyperspectral imagery is in a position to measure and quantify the impacts of in-field activities.
“Hyperspectral-based remote sensing is the next evolution in remotely sensed data acquisition and analysis, making it possible to economically collect information over large areas while enabling data-driven decisions over small areas,” said Nate Taylor, Director of Commercial Business Development. “We are excited to take part in this valuable educational series on the American Farmer.”
In this episode American Farmer will explore how ARC’s sensing systems automatically detect hard-to-see things like soil quality, fertility stress, and disease impacts to name just a few. This episode will educate viewers on ARC’s solutions to provide automatic processing and assessment of critical conditions in the field. From agricultural analysis, to environmental monitoring and IED detection, to border security, ARC’s remote sensing applications provide intelligible and actionable information to the user faster than other currently available systems in the field.
“For nearly a decade, ARC has delivered superior performance to the U.S. government and leading corporations throughout the world,” said Amanda Sweeney, Producer for the series. “We look forward to educating audiences on the innovative things ARC is doing.”
Advanced Reconnaissance Corp. (ARC) is a world leader in the research, development, and production of advanced multispectral and hyperspectral sensor systems with real-time processing for detecting hard-to-see objects to provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for a wide range of commercial, military and environmental applications.
